What does TÜV SÜD certification really mean?

TÜV SÜD is one of the world’s most respected independent testing and certification organizations, headquartered in Germany. When TÜV SÜD certifies a product, it means that it has been thoroughly evaluated against the highest international safety standards—not through a one-time inspection, but through continuous independent assessment.

According to Rasmus Varunov, Executive Manager of Tiptiptap OÜ:

Annual inspections – year after year

Many certificates are simply a one-time approval. Ours are not. Every year, an independent TÜV SÜD specialist visits the Tiptiptap OÜ manufacturing facility to audit our production processes, quality management systems, and finished products. These annual inspections ensure that our standards never decline—they are continuously monitored, documented, and renewed.

Which products are certified?

Our certification covers everything we manufacture. In addition to safety, we also take responsibility for the materials we use. Our products are manufactured from environmentally friendly materials that comply with strict technical requirements, while all finishing materials are safe for users and have a reduced environmental impact. Most of our products are designed for disassembly and recycling, and we have minimized production waste throughout our manufacturing process.
