Parkour – trains both body and mind

Blog

Parkour is the art of movement. Movement that is fast, precise and smooth – these are the magic words of parkour. It is more than just a sport. Parkour is a lifestyle that develops coordination, creativity and endurance. Every jump, climb and movement teaches the body and mind to work in harmony.

Parkour has become increasingly popular because it can be practiced anywhere – urban parkour takes place on benches, railings and walls, while specially designed parkour parks provide a safer and more versatile environment.

Parkour is for everyone

It doesn’t matter whether you are a beginner or an experienced practitioner – parkour is open to everyone who is willing to put in a little effort. Parkour develops:

  • balance and coordination
  • physical endurance
  • creative thinking
  • self-confidence and the courage to overcome obstacles

Getting started with parkour does not require expensive equipment – only the desire to move and learn. However, if you want to train in a professional environment, the best choice is specially designed parkour.

The Advantages of Professionally Designed Parkour

Our parkour designer has been practicing parkour since 2008 and has visited and tested parks in Denmark, Norway, Canada, New Zealand, and many other places around the world. Through his experience, he has learned which details matter most: wall angles, distances, heights, tube thicknesses, and other nuances that create a parkour environment that is both challenging and user-friendly.

We have created parkour that is safe and versatile at the same time. For example:

  • Inclined walls – encourage softer landings and offer more creative usage options.
  • Large wall with an opening – allows passage by jumping, running, or swinging from a bar.
  • Eco-friendly materials – walls made of cross-laminated timber (CLT), weatherproof and durable.
  • Steel components – horizontal pipes made of stainless steel, posts of hot-dip galvanized and powder-coated steel, ensuring long life.

Sustainability and durability

Our parkour structures are built to last. Wooden components undergo a four-stage weatherproof treatment, and the top edges are covered with rubber-coated anti-slip plastic (available in dark grey or red). The construction is securely fixed to the surface – on at least a 150 mm reinforced concrete slab foundation. That’s why our parkour parks are not a temporary solution, but an investment in community exercise habits and healthy lifestyles.

Parkour connects both communities and friendships

Parkour is not just training – it is a community sport. The first parkour hall in Tallinn was created precisely to develop the local community and to provide a safe training environment. Parkour brings together people of different ages and backgrounds, all learning to overcome obstacles – not only physically, but also mentally.
