Siimusti playground and recreation area

Commissioned by the Jõgeva Rural Municipality Government and supported by the European Union, the modernization of playgrounds and recreational sports areas is underway in Jõgeva Municipality. With the help of OÜ Tiptiptap, a new playground and recreation area was built in Siimusti on Tamme Street. During the project, the old worn-out playground equipment was removed, new safety surfaces with sand and rubber mulch were installed, and new playground and outdoor fitness equipment was added.

The Siimusti Tamme Street playground and recreation area offers activities for users of different ages, from children to adults.

The children’s playground features several attractions that are also exciting for older age groups, including the physically challenging climbing complex OCTO 7.1, the AMAZON Tarzan trail, and a 3-meter slackline. In addition, the playground includes a four-seat swing structure with hanging swings and a nest swing, a large bowl-shaped UFO carousel, the HulaLoop balance game, and the fun MusicBall musical play device.

Next to the playground, a picnic table-bench with a chess board, park benches, a roofed gazebo, a bicycle stand, and an information board for the playground were also installed.

The recreation area’s workout section includes two outdoor fitness complexes with a total of five different street workout exercise stations, as well as an outdoor table tennis table suitable for all weather conditions.

The Siimusti playground and recreation area is a great place to spend time together with friends and the whole family.
